Alright, since this Covid-19 fever still has not subside yet, and they forecast that it will stay with us all, I decided to make comeback into this blog world! Phewh!
Ever since I gave birth to my 1st born, my skin condition has been in a roller-coaster. I made major changes in my skincare routine, from using local skincare (read: nurayysa) which claim to be safe & natural in 2016( used during pregnancy π€°) to normal drugstore skincare to korean skincare (l mixed with western)
Unfortunately they didn't give good long effect. So when Hanan Medispa decided to open their branch in Batu Pahat in Dec 2018, I was one of the first customers who went there during their opening. And ended up getting a promo package of 3+1 at RM499 after second time doing my facial there.
First two facials was their famous Cleopatra Treatment which focuses on glowing skin post treatment. I love this treatment since you can see the glow in your face within days after treatment session.
Unfornately, I skip the balance of treatment in 2019 after first session of 3+1 package til end of year which means I have: another 3 sessions left. So on January 2020, I decided to asked them if my balance still valid since it is already a year after.
To my surprise they said it is still valid and I can come to finish off the balance of sessions left. The 3 sessions really helps lift off my dead skin cells from my face. But the tiny bumps in my face still appears and my whitehead keep coming back as usual after two or three days post treatment.
I was quite unsure, but decided to sign up anyway for another package. Main reason was to get normal facial treatments focus on basics. You know, lifting up dead skin cells, rejuvenating back the skins etc etc etc.
From there, I started to tailor back my skincare routine. This time, I focus more on basic, getting the right products for the skin & keeping it a clean cut routine.
After a month, I started adding up steps to improve the skin condition. So below is my current skincare routine for your reference. I narrow down the brands only up to 3 brands. No more mixing up brands to avoid cancelling each other benefits when I apply the products.
Products that I use daily:
1. Dr. Dennis Gross
2. Lancome
Products that I use weekly:
1. The Ordinary
2. Glamglow (clay mask)
3. Hanan Medispa (clay mask)
S.O.S Products that I use:
1. Au Fairy 100% Aloe Vera gel.
Previously, I tried incorporating FRESH products into my routine, but apparently my skin doesn't love em π. They cost me around MYR 700 plus for essence ( small bottle), full size peony day cream, full size lotus night cream. It is too greasy for me. And less effective.
I will make another entry on the skincare journey to explain further. So coming back to Hanan, after having 10 sessions every two weeks, Alhamdulillah my skin is getting better.
It gets better after I did Carbon Peel treatment which reduces sebum production and helps fading out scars. So my skin is less prone to breakout now. And I would say.. Looks healthyπ.
For MYR999 you will get 10 signature treatments and my rizq that day, they gave me free 4 facial sessions plus mani pedi. So overal, I will have 15 sessions which lasted me til March 2021! ( due to RMO from March til May, they stop operating before resumes back into business on June 20)
What a bargain!
What are my most fav treatment?
Definitely Carbon Peel & Cleo. Because I could see major improvement after these two treatmenst done.
As for Whitening Peel, my first session did not ended good, since my skin breakout few days after treatment. However for next WP treatment, my skin finally adapt and it helps brightened up my complexion and dried up the zits!
But please do not expose your skin to uv ray and stay inside as much as you can.
I probably thanked Hanan for their good services & treatment provided.
But I am thinking of getting a package from other medispa for 2021 π€π
Thinking about getting treatment from Dr Laureanne Spa for next year. If they have good promotion, I'll definitely go sign up! π
